I completed Private Pilot certificate (ASEL) in Bayport (23N), New York in 1995.
Was checked out in: C152, C172, DA20
While living in Redondo Beach, CA I was the 1LT Safety Officer for Civil Air Patrol (CAP), Senior Squadron 129 (Torrance, CA). In 2001, I was awarded Safety Officer of the Year – California Wing.
During same time with the CAP, I was also an Aviation Safety Counselor, reporting to Mark Galloway, Safety Program Manager, LAX FSDO.
